We are very proud of Sophie in this house right now!! She has received a Leadership in Christ Award at her school. Each grade had one recipient of this award and Sophie received it for first grade. She was given the award for being a great leader, taking care of others, showing compassion with classmates and making good decisions!! I cried....I don't think I can even find the words to express how happy this made me. You always hope that your children will exemplify these traits and then for them to receive an award for actually doing so was amazing. Sophie I love you and I am so proud of you!!!

Congratulations Sophie! What a great accomplishment. I'm with you, Jen, when I think of what I want for my kids, I want them to be good, kind, thoughtful people. To get an award for being a leader in these areas is wonderful--amazing. A sign of great parents and a wonderful child!

That is awesome!! You are doing a great job with her! I always wish I could be a fly on the wall when my kids are away from me, so I can see how they act. You sort of got a chance to find out! Great job Sophie!!
