Last night was prom night for Tiler and Khristian (yes, I let him go to prom with a junior, but only because I love her Mom and I know she is a good girl!) Here are the pictures of them and the group they went with. Everyone looked really fabulous...it was a very fun night for Tiler and he has not stopped talking about it!

I can't believe she is 6!!!
My baby is 6...how did this happen so fast.....she is growing and maturing at such a fast rate now it is scary!! Although, she does revert back to a 2 year old on occasion and sometimes resembles a 16 year old, it is so confusing raising a girl. Sophie is such a sweet 6 year old though and her expressions and little sayings keep us all so entertained. She loves to quote funny movie lines, dances and cheers constantly and loves to sing and do crafts and sew with her grandma. Her favorite outdoor activites are swimming, gardening and yelling at the top of her lungs (I think this is because our kids are not supposed to yell or run in our house because we are mean parents).
She has an independent streak right now and we often hear eachother saying "oh, the drama of Sophie"....I mean we have tons of drama going on over here. The other day we went for a bike ride and Sophie took off twice from us and we could not find her without the help of a neighbor who had seen her. So, when Michael grounded her from her bike right then and there she started screaming that it was the worst bike ride of her life and she was never going with us again-EVER!!!!! Much to the amusement of our other neighbor who just looked at us with sympathy and says" Oh, the drama, I know I raised three girls". On that note Michael and I just shrugged our shoulders and went inside following a ranting and door slamming Sophie.
But, it is all worth it because she is the light of our lives. Michael, Tiler and I know we have created a monster by loving Sophie so much that she thinks the world revolves around her! I wonder what she will be like at 7?!?

Getting photos of Sophie
Okay, getting photos of Sophie is not always that easy. Since I take so many pictures she either runs and hides when I get out the camera or looks off in the distance while I am trying to take pictures of her. I have hundreds of pictures of her looking left and right not directly at the camera. Basically, she is bored with it already. So, in order to get one good photo of her I have to let her pose in what she calls "funny pictures". I have to promise her if she will smile and look in the lens of the camera a couple of times then she can take funny pictures after! So, to get one of these.....
I have to do a bunch of these..........
