Happy Holidays!!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday from our family to yours......Love, Michael, Jennifer, Tiler and Sophie

"While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. Then she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and she wrapped Him snugly in cloth and laid Him in a feeding trough—because there was no room for them at the inn." Luke 2:6-7, HCSB

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Our Christmas Angel!

Sophie had two holiday shows this year and I wanted to share some pictures from them. She sang holiday songs with her kindergarten class and the next night danced to "Holly, Jolly, Christmas". Tiler, Michael and I had a blast watching her as she turns into such a princess in the spotlight!

From princess to mountain climber

We went to the Nutcracker and Sophie danced her way back to the car continually pausing and waiting for applause from my Mom and I before she would continue walking . We drove straight to Max's Birthday party at a rock wall gym where we met Michael and Tiler. Sophie had never climbed a rock wall so I was not sure how she would do especially around a bunch of boys!! But here she is-she made it to the top!!

Tiler is great-he can climb to the top of any level and was very helpful with the younger kids!!

A bloody mess...

Do you ever think if you leave your kids alone with your huband he could possibly damage them for life....well.....Sophie lost her first tooth and lets just say I HOPE it was time for it to come out....because Michael YANKED it out.
I was on the computer with my Mom burning some discs and I hear from the vicinity of the bathroom where Michael is supposedly helping Sophie wash her hair, "Mom, Mom, Mom". I completely ignore them because usually they call me all the way downstairs to show me a shampoo mohawk or some other ridiculous thing my husband thinks I haven't seen. I spend every waking moment with these two kids, I have seen everything. So, anyway..I am ignoring them until it gets frantic, "Mommy, come here Noooooooooowwwwwwwww"!
I run downstairs to see my little princess bleeding from the mouth and spitting, yes, spitting, into a cup. Okay, I feel about spitting like I do about nose picking and eating boogers okay, I DO NOT like it, it makes me gag!" Anyway, she lost her tooth, it was so cute as she has been waiting so long for this moment. She says, "Daddy tricked me!! He said let me see your tooth and then he yanked it out", spit, spit. We are all present for this now, Michael, me, Tiler, my Mom and we are cheering. So, Sophie proceeds to do a hoochie dance (I know, I know, can I help it that I like to shake a little booty from time to time around the house). She is buck naked in the tub with a cup full of bloody spit, doing a hip thrust shakey dance arms out in front going in a circle, singing Oui, Oui, I lost my tooth, Oui, Oui (you know the sound you make on the dance floor that sounds like an owl, come on I know you know what I am talkin about), you especially Debbie!! You too Shauna, Becky, Tammie Jo!! Oh ya, all of my girlfriends know this call of the dancer girl!! AND.....

she spills the bloody spit mess down her front. It's okay, as she is in the tub and naked, so no big deal right, oh no, she starts crying and sobbing and freaking out. This child apparently is very freaked out by her blood all over herself. Not good.....so we take pictures and then pull her out of the tub and high five...after we clean her up she's okay, crazy kid!!

She got $2.50 from the tooth fairy. She finds out her brother got $1.00. She thinks she is braver than he was, we just know it's inflation!
